Membership Subscription

The Science Council annual subscriptions is based on the numbers of individual members of member bodies excluding students and overseas members.  The current rate of subscription is £0.62p per qualifying member or a minimum of £1000 per annum.   Our subscription year runs from January to December.  For those organisations who join the Science Council part-way through the year a pro-rata charge is made.

 

Licensed Bodies

There is an annual Licensed Body fee of £1000 and a fee for each individual Chartered Scientists of £15 per annum (which is remitted to the Science Council through the Licensed Body).  New applications for licensed body status are subject to a one-off application fee of £1500.   The majority of Licensed Bodies make an additional administration charge for the Chartered Scientist annual registration fee and the level of this additional administrative fee varies from organisation to organisation.
