19th August 2011

The Science Council welcomes the opportunity to provide evidence on this important issue and commends the Royal Society of Edinburgh for establishing the Working Group. If gender balance in the science workforce is to be achieved, the STEM community must continue to ask themselves probing questions on how to attract and retain women. Information about the Royal Society of Edinburgh inquiry is available to view here.
