NRAG is composed of representatives from Member Bodies and chaired by Jon Poole (CEO, Institute of Food Science and Technology)

Terms of Reference

Reporting to the Board of the Science Council, the NRAG’s terms of reference are to:

• scope the initial research to be undertaken;
• consider the implications of this research in establishing the business case;
• contribute to the development of competency frameworks and standards for each register;
• lead discussions on the terminology of the new registers;
• identify at least four Member Bodies to pilot licences;
• undertake the evaluation of the pilot licences; and
• oversee the production of resources for use in awareness raising and marketing of the new registers by the Science Council.
