The Science Council provides a voice on policy issues affecting the science community, fostering debate and the exchange of ideas

Through a wide range of activities the Science Council aims to provide leadership in policy by facilitating and co-ordinating activities to identify and articulate common concerns and key messages which reflect the changing nature of science and the challenges facing society.

We encourage engagement with our member bodies and a wide range of stakeholders on cross science community issues through research, meetings and seminars, discussion papers, policy proposals and responses to consultations, and participating in public affairs activities, including events in Parliament and at political party conferences.
