Future Morph launched their second action on the Orange ‘Do Some Good’ app today
The new action entitled: ‘Scientists of the future’ is a short survey allowing adults (primarily parents) to share their thoughts on whether they would encourage their children to go into a science based career. The results from the survey will go towards shaping new content on the Future Morph site specifically aimed at parents, to help them advise their children and give them accurate careers advice.
Example questions include:
• Would you encourage your child to go into a science-based career?
• Do you feel confident in giving your child careers advice?
• Where would you usually turn for careers advice?
• What is the most important item for you when looking for careers advice?
Future Morph’s previous action ‘Hidden Science’ has now closed after running for an extended period of 17 months. The action was originally planned to run for 1 year but was extremely successful totting up a massive ~7,000 submitted questions from the general public relating to various monthly themes over its lifetime. There were over 250 scientists from Science Council member organizations as well as many others answering these questions on a daily basis and keeping their cool with even the most challenging questions. If you/your organization were involved then please accept our greatest thanks – we really could not have done it without you.
If you would like to take part and complete the new ‘Scientists of the Future’ survey you can download the app for free – simply search for Do Some Good on your mobile device.
This action is one of a number of actions within the Orange ‘Do Some Good’ app. Tasks are designed not to take longer than 5 minutes.
